Santiago Escudero // Story

Story#1
“Every day is different, you just have to live knowing that anything and/or everything you know can change in the blink of an eye.”

Exposition
A father and his daughter on their morning commute to school are involved in a hit-and-run car accident

Inciting Moment
At the hospital the father is told by a doctor working there that his daughter is in a vegetative state and may never awake

Conflict
The father is broken, no shoulder to cry on, no one to blame but himself

Crisis/Climax
In his depression he plots on taking his own life to compensate for his “mistakes.”

Resolution
He opens his eyes and realizes that there is nothing he can do to change his daughter’s condition, what happened was out of his control, he accepts this and waits for his daughter to return to him.

Theme
Somethings can’t be helped, but even in our deepest and darkest moments, we can climb back up to the top.
