Mike Bautista - Revised Story

Exposition: A large magical tree births fruit fairies of all kind, in which one day a fairy unlike any other is born, being a durian fairy named Rio. She is much different from all the other fairies, having spikes extending from her off-colored body and much more aggressive and violent in appearance.

Inciting Incident: Rio is teased playfully by her fellow peers, acting as though it doesn't bother her until one day she snaps, lashing out at the others and injuring them - she runs away out of shame and fear of herself.

Conflict: She runs to the deep forest, meeting another "runaway" -  a cactus fruit fairy named Phyre who specializes in spellcasting and was outcasted from society for being different. Phyre convinces Rio to get revenge on the people who shunned them for being who they truly are by destroying the tree that created them.

Crisis: Phyre begins to curse the tree with Rio supporting her, until she finds from the other fairies that Phyre was not a runaway, rather banished for attempting to destroy the tree in the past. Rio uses her spikes to ram into Phyre, knocking her unconscious.

Resolution: Rio is thanked by the fellow fairies, receiving apologies for their past treatment of her. She learns to accept herself and understands that they never meant to hurt her, feeling welcome in the society she once had felt ostracized from.
