Exposition: Post-apocalyptic Neo-Japan/Far East. It has been over 300 years since the last war ended and changed the world forever. However, life goes on and many people do jobs like searching for "magical artifacts". Aoi is one of these people. The biggest problem is that the world after the war is being digested by a mysterious disease* which until recently was considered to be something that gives people infinite power and was commontly cultivated (like a cult or a weird religion).

Inciting Incident: Disease starts to have many bad side effects. Aoi discovers her immunity to the "disease". The important people - priests, samurai and the empress herself finds out about it.

Conflict: People in power want to kidnapp her and do some experiments, maybe even kill her, to find the antidote to the disease.

Crisis: After a long time of running away and hiding, she got caught. After they arrive to the temple, she tries to kill the empress. It turns out that Aoi is empress's sister, but Aoi has no mercy and kills her.

Resolution: The empress transforms into demonic entity, which is an actual representation of the disease. The demon enters Aoi's body and now she's posessed just like her sister and wants to spread the "disease" further.
